The Data Analyst will support the Business Intelligence unit by performing the following duties
Collect, select and organize data from different sources to fulfill project.
Create, maintain and use SQL data structures
Understand project requirements and design a feasible data solutions to enhance business operations and improve productivity and efficiency
Develop dashboards and data visualizations on Excel
Create and interpret business analytics using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports.
Identify and interpret patterns and trends, assess data quality and eliminate irrelevant data.
Communicate the results of analysis as a comprehensive report to decision makers and others affected by the results.
Design the report and includes tools that can help those involved easily digest the data, such as statistics, graphs, images and lists.
Maintain, update, and distribute dashboards that track Key Performance Indicators.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience and/or education in programming
Proficient with VBA language
A deep knowledge of Excel, whether it’s creating a business model, ad-hoc databases driven by Pivot Tables, or tracking and visualizing your own personal data because it’s fun.
Proficient on SQL
Ability to present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Demonstrated problem resolution skills/experience.
Candidate must be pursuing or hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, etc.) or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
