The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining an efficient purchasing plan by assuring that the service level and turnaround time agreed with Optime’s clients is met. By keeping proactive communication with LP leaders and by supporting team in reaching daily goals. 
Maintain constant communication with Fulfillment Marketing Specialist by reporting on catalog updates a monthly basis via dashboard.
Maintain constant communication with Purchase Leader to qualify vendors and inventory availability.
Assist Fulfillment Marketing Specialist in maintaining all loyalty program catalogs up to date.
Ensure a quality user experience, and that redemptions are correct and accurate based in catalog specific rules.
Regularly source new prize providers/maintain current providers, negotiate costs, and compare them to each other relative to cost KPI FOR BOTH FULFILLMENT AND LOYALTY PROGRAMS (LP as needed)
Negotiate with current vendors
Track and recognize 3 best providers by countries
Proactive weekly check in with Fulfillment Marketing Specialist to determine needs for special promotions
Create a special prize catalogs based on criteria set for marketing Specialist
Assists in resolving prizes issues locally and overseas.
The incumbent is responsible for conducting Quality Assurance Survey reviews to make sure that the prizes are delivered in compliance with Optime’s turnaround policy.
Tracking update to all providers/LP platforms and damage control – Turn Around
Keeps proactive communication with LP leaders and support team in reaching daily, weekly and quarterly goals.
Desired skills and experience
2-3 years of related experience.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage project details while balancing multiple priorities.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Strong communication skills.
Proactive, energetic, organized, customer focused self-motivated and dynamic personality.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university with a concentration in business finance or related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
